Elegant Scottish Silver Coffee Pot & Water Jug
A very elegant George V, Silver Coffee Pot & Hot Water Jug.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS" for Robert Stewart of Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Robert Stewart held the distinction of having been appointed Goldsmith, Silversmith and Jeweller to Queen Victoria.
The coffee pot and water jug were assayed in London, hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "n" for 1928/29.
