Folk Art Castle
Someone would have been very happy to see this on christmas day many years ago. Probably made for a father for his son around a hundred years ago, it is what is now often referred to as folk art - and is a very good example of this indeed. It consists of a number of wooden buildings and walls, albeit there may well have be more buildings originally. There are cloisters, drawbridge, large tower, walls and a great hall. The buildings are all in good condition and the paint is well-patinated. For scale, the tall tower is 12” high.
