Description

Superb quality 19th Century Chinese plant stand or lamp table in excellent condition. The circular top with carved beaded edge has a petal shaped pink variegated marble inset. Underneath is an exceptionally well carved shaped apron with foliating carved frieze on all sides. Raised on four square leg with carved faces at the top leading down to carved claw feet unite by curved stretchers. The stand is in good condition of solid hardwood construction with a fabulous rich colouring and skilfully carved and will look stunning wherever it was placed.
