We have for sale a very attractive arts and crafts Cambray ware jewellery box.

This attractive early 20th century silver plated jewellery box is is of an tractive planished form with a rope bordered domed lid. The base carries the Cambray Ware Works mark used by Best and Lloyd of Handsworth, Birmingham. The box probably dates to somewhere around 1910-1920.

The box is 3.25 inches (8.3cm) in diameter at the base and 1.75 inches (4.4cm) high. The box in a good condition but does show some ware to the silver palating of the lids rope border and some accumulations of tarnishing commensurate with its age. The interior of the box is original and aged.
