A dated, German Oak Marriage Trunk. Front moulded decoration and carved marriage names and date 1757. Very heavy construction, shallow domed top and original steel furniture, lock and key. Some replacement mouldings and light restoration.Inscription carved onto front " J MAGRETA. SCHARMERS.ANNO 1757 "
