Vintage Mahogany Dunhill Humidor Cigar Box
This lovely Dunhill humidor is of a good size. We believe it to be constructed from mahogany, although please note that we are not 100% sure of the wood type. It is lockable and retains two working keys. The original detachable filter is still present on the inside of the lid, with the black round Dunhill plaque below. The inside has a removable partition, which can be fitted in any one of four places. The humidor has a fabric lined base (on the outside). We are unsure of the date, but we would estimate it to date from the 1970s. A nice item, of superb quality.
Condition - Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching and wear to the external woodwork as might be expected, and this is heavy in places (mostly to the lid). There is some damage to the lacquered finish. The brass surround of the filter is grubby and tarnished.
The approx. measurements are as follows -
Overall - 15cm high, 35cm wide, 22cm deep Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
