Vintage Garrard Sterling Silver Mustard Pot
This lovely vintage mustard pot is round in shape with a handle to one side. It retains what we believe to be its original Bristol blue glass liner. It also retains a spoon, although this is not original to the piece. The pot is hallmarked for London 1933, with the maker's mark for Garrard & Co. The spoon is hallmarked for Birmingham with what we believe to be the date letter for 1922 and the maker's mark J.S. & S. Without the liner the spoon and pot weigh approx. 121g (3.9ozt).
Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some surface scratching and wear. The spoon is not original to the pot. The piece is overall a little tarnished and would benefit from a careful clean and polish. The glass liner has some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected, and a fracture / crack near the bottom.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Pot - 6.5cm high, 9cm long (including handle), 6cm diameter
Spoon - 8.5cm long. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
