Vintage Fish Bowl on Stand, Jardiniere, Plant, Pot
This is a vintage fish bowl on stand, a jardiniere plant stand in excellent condition. This Chinese ceramic pot dates from the mid 20th century.
Beautifully presented pottery in 'famille rose' hues
Profusely decorated with stylised foliate bands framing the panels
The panels featuring figures, trees, birds, flora, foliage and butterflies
Inside the pot features goldfish and aquatic plants
Large pot to accommodate a 30.5cm / 12 inch plant pot within
Underneath bearing a maker's stamped mark
The stand in quality rosewood cossets the pot
Five, shaped legs raising it off the ground
Splayed feet for excellent stability
