This is a vintage ETAS lock catalogue. An English, bound trade directory of locks and fittings, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
Enoch Tonks & Sons - with the trade name ETAS - created locks and fittings from their factory site in Willenhall, West Midlands. Established in 1877, this fascinating catalogue is undated, but gives reference to fifty years of trade as 'the Standard of Quality.' Specialists in mortise and rim locks, the company continued after its purchase by Yale Locks in 1963 until their range was discontinued before the end of the 20th century.
Presented in remarkable vintage condition, with minimal loss or discolouration
Proudly presents an overview of the available patterns, as a mark of engineering quality
Cover dressing with embossed title upon imitation crocodile leather on board and canvassed spine
Across 164 pages with a comprehensive overview of products from locks to keys and hinges
Each section begins with a blue card insert for ease of navigation

Illustrated with delightful etchings of the featured products
Ephemera to the rear includes a 1937 price list, and two letter envelopes with stamp franking interest
