For sale is a charming Victorian vesta.

The front of the vesta is heavily decorated with a lovely foliate design surrounding a central shield shaped cartouche engraved with RR. The back of the vesta is also heavily engraved with the same foliate design but this time with a central flower.The vesta carries hallmarks for Birmingham 1898 along with the makers mark AS (Probably for Albert Sydenham). The vesta case is in a good antique condition other than surface scratches commensurate with its age and the sensation of a finger impression on the reverse from being held.

The vesta weighs approximately 32.3g and is just short of 2 inches high
