Movement signed Henry Band Jun'r, Chronometer Maker, London.

Dial, movement and case carry the same number - 5948.
The case also has the maker's/sponsor's mark of HB&S which could be Henry Band & Son, although I cannot find this name registered with the mark.

Approximate dimensions: diameter 55mm, weight 167 grams.

The dial is a crisp white with no hairlines.
The case has an engine turned design which has been rubbed smooth around the edge.
Vacant cartouche.
The back springs open to 90 degrees when the button is pressed.
Key wound and key hand set - key supplied.

Open the back to wind the movement.
Lever open front with your thumb nail to set the hands to the time using the key at the centre where the hands are held with a small nut.

The movement has been serviced and is working well.
Movement guaranteed for 12 months.
