A large art nouveau silver trinket box and cover of circular shape with embossed sides and domed top with scrolls, arabesques, diaper pattern sections and flowers and foliage against a pinprick background. The cover has a vacant cartouche in the centre. The base rim and cover edge are unusually formed in a crimped gadrooned style. Hallmarked to the base and partial marks inside the cover for Chester 1897, makers James Deakin & Sons.

It measures 9.2cm (3 5/8") wide and 6cm (2 3/8") high and weighs 140g / 4.5ozt.

In very good condition with no damage, holes or repairs and minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
