Troika cube vase, Anne Lewis, 1969/1970
This Troika cube vase was decorated by Anne Lewis.
Anne worked at Troika as a decorator from 1969 to 1972.
This piece dates to 1969/1970.
Troika moved from St.Ives to Newlyn in 1970. Up to that point they sometimes used the words "St.Ives" in their markings, as on this vase.
Following the move, they did not mark anything "Newlyn", just various combinations of "Troika", "Cornwall" and "England".
The vase measures approximately 9 cm x 9 cm by 9 cm (3.5" x 3.5" x 3.5").
The vase is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
