Having a turned tapering handle rising to a wooden cog wheel mechanism that is attached to a sound board

When the rattle is raised and spun around it makes an extremely loud sound

In good overall condition with sound board having a split and age related knocks and bumps and wear

The piece has a lovely aged patina and would be of interest to collectors of antique treen
