Superb Quality Geo.Silver Cream Jug. Ldn.1825
A really impressive and quality Georgian Silver Cream Jug with allover repousse work on Body,Lip and raised Base.The base has four feet, each modelled as 'Toes'.There are scrolled Cartouches on back and front, the back one having small surface loss of the Silver.(As seen in Photo)It has an upswept Handle with Shell and Leaf pattern.There is still witness of the original internal Gilding.The condition is very good overall commensurate with age.It has clear Hallmarks for London 1825 byThomas Wilkes Barber. It weighs 242 grammes and is 14 cms Long and 10cms high (to top of Handle)
