Stolen Antique Sundial & Base
Theft of antique sun dial and base from West Sussex. Some time between the 28th and 30th of October, the antique sun dial and base shown (which was cemented to the ground) was uprooted and stolen. You will see that it is quite distinctive with “1667 – John Read” inscribed on the dial. If anyone attempts to get in touch with you to sell this item or you have seen it, we would be very grateful if you could not alert the sellers to the possibility of it being a stolen item, but rather pass on any details to Antiques Atlas and they will then forward them on to the owners and appropriate authorities.
