A magnificent and highly decorative shaped biscuit box, with a wonderful naturalistic formed frame in the form of tree branches, both back and front beautifully decorated with repousse work surrounding central oval cartouches, one engraved with a Wedding presentation dating to 1900, so a true Victorian example.

The box when opened reveals a splendid two compartment box each with a pierced grille, these slip down inside the gap and stand upright as shown in the photographs.

Dating to around 1900, this wonderful piece is stamped with the silversmith's initials G G & S of Sheffield, for Geroge Gordon and Sons.

Excellent condition, The legs measuring 7 3/4" wide x 5 1/4" deep and stands 10" tall.
