This delightful solid silver bookmark was made by the prolific silversmiths Adie & Lovekin and is dated Birmingham 1907. It is modelled as a trowel and has a very pretty embossed handle. The blade fully hallmarked. Adie & Lovekin made unique silver items during the late Victorian era and the early part od the 20th Century. Their speciality being, pin cushions, babies rattles, bookmarks, nurses buckles and other numerous novelty silver items.

ALLd for Adie & Lovekin.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "h" for 1907.
