Circa 1870. An unusual and rare set of four Dutch walnut marquetry inlayed chairs, the stylish cresting rail the shaped and curved splat and the shaped uprights all smothered in floral marquetry, front and back, serpentine fronted seat with lift out pads, the shaped seat rail is covered in marquetry, back legs turned and slightly out swept, front legs are cabriole with quarter blocks finishing on an animal foot.
