A Scottish Pottery Bough jug typically hand painted with frieze of stylised fruit and leaves (cherries) in red and green on an off-white ground set between navy blue and with a bright green handle.

It stands 13.5cm to top of spout and measures 17cm from handle to spout. Good condition throughout and free from any damage. Overall crazing stained on the base and about half way up inside commensurate both with age and this type of ware.

Painted marks to reverse - dated 1923.
