RARE 19th century PRE-WEMYSS teapot by ROBERT HERON of KIRKCALDY in the Canterbury Bells design. This teapot was made before Wemyss ware came into existence by Robert Heron who were one of the Fife potteries that became Wemyss. The Teapot has a green spout and handles and has some speckled gilt decoration as well as the Canterbury Bells flowers.

The teapot is basically in very good order but has had a small professional repair to the end of the spout.
