A Very Fine William IV large solid silver "Castle Top" Vinaigrette of rectangular form with raised foliate borders and reeded sides, the base with engine turned decoration and a vacant rectangular cartouche. The lid with a chased and engraved view in high relief depicting Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott. The silver gilt interior with finely pierced foliate scroll grille.

By Silvermaker Thomas Shaw, and Assayed in Birmingham 1835. PRICED TO SELL.

Larger than average vinaigrettes measuring in length 5.2cm and approx. weight 1.5oz.

In Mint Condition with no issues whatsoever. A good investment piece.
