A Charming beautifully executed oil on board study of a young woman.
Maldarelli was a prolific portrait painter influenced by Dominico Maldarelli and painted in the style between the School of Naples and the impressionists.Many of his paintings are exhibited in galleries in Italy and the King was a keen collector of his work.
The picture is signed and dated 1916 and is in a fine original gilt frame.
