Pollard Victorian Partners Desk
Circa 1850. An early Victorian pollard oak pedestal partners desk. The lift off top with original green tooled leather insert with broad pollard oak banding and a double moulded fore-edge. The top section with two long drawer’s one working and one faux on the front and the back, with turned wooden knob handle’s, resting pedestals with a bank of three graduating beaded drawers on both sides, with the gables polished on all sides, making the desk free standing, both pedestals rest on enclosed plinths with original castors beneath.
