Pair of Large Framed Engravings of Queen Victoria
Fabulous pair of large mid 19th.c. framed engravings of the wedding and coronation of Queen Victoria. Beautifully detailed records of both events, engraved after the celebrated paintings by Sir George Hayter, principle painter and drawing tutor to Queen Victoria and published by Henry Graves & Co. Titled below the images as the wedding and coronation of ‘Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria’, complete with details of the artist and publisher and dated 1844. Presented behind glass in the original moulded pollard oak veneered frames of particularly good colour, with gilt slip and brass fittings, ready to hang.
