A Pair of Golden Oak Arts & Crafts Carvers with Cane Seats by Wylie & Lochhead designed by E. A. Taylor.
Probably retailed by Liberty & Co. and other high-end stores.
A good rich golden oak colour and in very solid condition with no wobbles or worm. They have a few very small blips and bruises commensurate with age and one historic repair to one back leg. Very well done by a professional, see photo.
The cane seats are in excellent condition and these could be easily changed to upholstered seats to match other chairs if required.
Altogether a great pair of Arts & Crafts carver/elbow chairs
