A fabulous addition to any bookmark collection, this English Victorian example was created in the form of a miniature butter knife. The front is beautifully engraved and the reverse is where the silver hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1898 the silversmith's mark can also be found, I believe for George Harry Whitaker.

The handle is made from Mother of Pearl, carved and polished showcasing it's iridescent qualities.

Excellent condition measuring 4 3/4" in length.
