Always highly collectible, this little aide memoir or notebook, is made from brass which was nickel plated and now a combination of silver and gold with a ring to the top, which would have been used for attachment to a Chatelaine.

Both the back and front are beautifully cast, the front featuring a wonderful little owl, retaining his original glass eyes. To the lid is a propelling pencil which when removed allows the lid to spring open ready for the little notebook to be used.

Excellent condition measuring 2 3/4" x 1 3/4", Edwardian in era, around 1900/1910
