A good pair of Japanese bronze vases we suggest dating to the Mejia period
The Meiji era is an era of Japanese history that extended from October 23, 1868 to July 30, 1912.
The Meiji era was the first half of the Empire of Japan.
Our bronze vases are elaborately decorated with typical Japanese decoration depicting Japanese mythology.
Amongst other images are serpents, cranes, woodcutter etc.

They display well and show a very good bronze colouration.

There is a small historic repair to the inside of one of the feet.

Height: 22.5 cm
Width to widest point: 14 cm
