Large Signed Framed Engraving of Two Hounds
Artist - Engraved by Joseph B. Pratt (1854-1910) after the original by Heywood Hardy (1842-1933)
Title - Pick of the Pack, Stormer and Grasper, Hertfordshire Hunt 1900
Details - Antique engraving, signed by both the artist and the engraver in pencil beneath the image. Published in 1901 by Thomas Agnew & Sons. There is a Printselle's Association blindstamp just below the image in one corner. Mounted, glazed and framed in an modern gilt frame.
Condition - Overall in fair-good condition with some wear consistent with age. The print has some discolouration and some scattered foxing (brown spotting). It has a few scuffs and marks. Please note that we have not removed it from the frame. The frame has some scuffing, knocking and wear as might be expected and some chipping.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size - 62cm by 48cm
Frame - 89cm by 79cm, 3cm deep. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
