We are offering for sale this fine quality, large, heavy, Irish Brass Lectern, Book or Reading Stand, which came from an Irish Convent.

It stands on a stepped, reducing circular base with a central socle, above which are four arms to which the stand is double bolted. The Brass Stand itself has a pierced design of twin shamrocks arranged around an engraved, intaglio of shamrocks in the centre. The upstand has a decorative wavy edge.
