A handsome antique Edwardian brass single bed by Heal & Son of London dating from circa 1905. A good quality all brass single bed in Arts and Crafts design, with dipped top rails and square vertical rails with flat finials. It has drop in iron side rails and stands on its original ceramic casters. Suitable for standard single mattress. Makers label on foot bar which reads: “Heal & Son Ltd Bedsteads & Bedding Tottenham Court Road London W”. Features a headboard, footboard and two side irons. Does not come with a mattress or bed base. It is in original tarnished finish, with some oxidisation and discolouration to the brass.
