This is a very rare survivor.

Circa 1780.

Both sides are tortoiseshell and both open and close with pushing a small button upwards.

The purse has silver edges (no markings) and is decorated with bright cut.

The leather is in great order for such a old piece and is commensurate with the age of the item.
