A lovely clear glass ice pail with star cut base, mounted with silver rim with swing handle. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, makers Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton, partial marks to the handle.

Provenance: Estate of descendants of the Earls of Denbigh and of Robert Heath (Biddulph Grange).

It measures 13.2cm (5 3/16") high to the rim, 21.2cm (8 3/8") high including the handle and 12cm (4 11/16") wide.

Condition is very good with no damage or repair and only minor surface wear including a couple of very tiny dinks to the silver. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
