For your consideration these beautifully executed hand-coloured engravings by A J Agar published in R. Ackermann's 'History of Oxford', 1814, after Thomas Uwins (1782-1857).

This listing if for four engravings from this series:
Student In Civil Law
Commoner
Batchelor of Divinity
Vice Chancellor - Esquire Beadle - Yeoman Beadle - Verger

Method: Copper engraving with original hand coloring
Artist: A J Agar after T Uwins
Published: London Pubd. January 1 1814 at 101 Strand for R. Ackermann's History of Oxford.

Each engraving has a matching frame with a Bath framer's 1926 label verso.

In very good condition considering the age. The frame edges are scratched and do have marks but are original frames. As this is an antique item please expect moderate signs of wear which is commensurate with age and use.

The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.

Please note: antique items for sale may have some wear and marks commensurate with their age which adds to the character of the piece.
