Early Victorian Silver Chamberstick 1845
A fine quality early Victorian silver chamberstick with pretty fluted shaped rims to the tray and detachable sconce. A fish shaped handle with flared kick at the terminal and cast acanthus leaf thumb rest houses the original snuffer with decorative finial and reeded rim. All pieces hallmarked for Birmingham 1845, makers Robinson, Edkins and Aston.
It measures 10cm (4") wide across the base and 5.7cm (2 1/4") high to the sconce. It weighs 155g / 5.0ozt.
In very good condition: there is a tiny tear to the finial of the candle snuffer but no other issues and minimal handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
