A rather special (late 1950s / early 1960s) Danish teak bureau in the highly regarded Arne Wahl Iversen design with the added feature of a pull-out or foldaway copper-backed and labelled mirror by AG Spejl Kobberbeskyttet transforming the bureau into a vanity unit as required. In beautiful condition with the centrally positioned mirror being flanked by two small drawers over three pigeon-holes. The top section includes an attractively chamfered and shaped pull-out writing slide above the bottom three full-width, dovetailed drawers with inset handles. The top drawer being lockable and retaining the original key. Raised on tapering round legs and apart from one ring mark on the very top (see photo) that does not detract from this superb piece which otherwise is in excellent vintage condition.
