An adorable solid silver (835) powder compact with an engine turned design on the lid, base & all sides. The lid has stars engraved with tiny white enamel centers. This is a lovely powder compact & it comes with the original good quality velvet edged sifter which looks unused & so it is suitable for use with loose powder. It is hallmarked in five places. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is excellent & gives a clear reflection.
This solid silver compact measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/2" & weighs 96.9 grams.
