Comptoise Longcase Clock
A painted case French comptoise .Repeats on the hour , in good working order ,bit fussy where it stands but if instructions given in French then more cooperative . It has a gong rather than a bell for the strike somewhat equivalent to a tea tray being struck with a hammer !
