Bullivant & Co Millwall fusee dial wall clock
A fusee dial wall antique clock. A larger 14" painted dial signed 'BULLIVANT & CO LTD, MILLWALL' with blued steel hands. A well proportioned walnut case with a brass bezel surround. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. Circa 1920.
Bullivant & Co of Millwall, London were steel and iron wire rope makers in the late 19th and 20th century. They were used in aerial ropeway cables for industries such as maritime, mining and shipyards. This is likely to be the office or shop floor antique clock they used.
Height/Width 18" / 46 cms Depth 6 " / 16 cms.
