We are pleased to offer for sale this rather unusual British School watercolour from the early to mid 20th Century. The watercolour depicts a lady, partly deshabillee, in a seated full length post, sewing. She has dark hair, pulled back under a scarf and a mid calf length dress, with long full sleeves. She is wearing a necklace and earrings. The artist has used a very limited palette to great effect. The watercolour is unsigned.

Unfortunately, we have no information to offer about the artist.

The watercolour has been newly double mounted in two-tone mountboard to complement the painting and is newly framed in a 1 3/8 inch bronze frame, which suits it very well.
