This is a very attractive antique runner from North West Persia with an unusual and eye catching colour palette. The carpet which dates from the early 20th century has a charcoal field with a lattice of polychrome stylised boteh in red, blue and lime yellow. It is enclosed by pretty lemon borders and skittle guard stripes. The runner is in really good order and is a good size measuring 433 cms by 100 cms.
