A beautifully made solid mahogany bench in the antique Regency style. This was made in England, and I would date it from around the 1950’s period.

It is a great size and is a very useful item, perfect for use as a window seat, at the end of a bed or in various settings around the home. This sits on elegant yet sturdy sabre shaped legs, which run all the way up into the scrolled and fluted back rests. The back rests are pierced and have beautifully carved harp motiffs with brass hardware.

We have had this re-polished and re-upholstered, the condition is excellent for its age.
