This is a beautiful 19th century porcupine quill box with bone inlaid detail set into solid ebony. The collectors box has great charm with internal compartments filled with shells in a lift out tray. The box is raised on its original solid satin walnut turned bun feet. It has a purple velvet lined lid inlaid with an ebony and bone design.

The box is around 1890 in date and is in excellent condition overall for its age.

This measures 31 cms x 22 cms x 14 cms high
