This antique flame mahogany pedestal desk has small proportions while still retaining a generous sized kneehole space. It has the original tooled leather writing surface & the front section of this desk is serpentine shaped. This desk has a wonderfully patterned flame mahogany all over the front, sides, back & it sits on well shaped bold bracket feet. The middle drawer has a lock, while the other bow fronted drawers on either side are all graduated in depth & all the drawers have nicely shaped good quality brass handles. This high quality antique Regency style desk is in excellent condition & dates to around the 1930-50’s period.
