A wonderful late Victorian sterling silver photograph frame with it's original red leather backing and folding easel back.

The stunning sterling silver front is a riot of decoration with a plethora of floral and foliate motifs over a lattice background. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1895. The makers mark is also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The aperture retains the original bevelled glass with an aperture measuring 5 1/2" x 3 3/4".
