A wonderful and charming little novelty string, twine or thread dispenser in the form of a lovely little cat or kitten sporting his original glass eyes.

The kitten holds what looks like a drum, which is where the string or twine is dispensed from with the front screwing off.

Late Victorian in era, dating to around 1890. Excellent condition, measuring 3" max x 2 1/2" tall.
