Beautiful 17th Century oak coffer.
Stunning deep carving.
It measures 140cms wide by 56cms deep by 59cms tall.
Perfect for period coffee table or end of bed storage.
It has plenty of history.
Legs worn right down, damage to back right leg, but all the joints are strong and sturdy.
Woodworm damage, all fully treated.
Strengtheners under lid and a newer (but still antique) piece on the right hand end of the lid.
Antique paper, different layers inside the box, well worn, torn and missing.
Something has been attached to the front central panel and is no longer there.
Classic period piece. UK palletised shipping available
