An Admirol Fitzroy Barometer
A mahogany cased Admirol Fitzroy barometer. An architectural pediment with brass central finial. Twin brass slide indicators. Backpaper with weather predictions, mercury tube, thermometer and storm tube. Circa 1970.
Fitzroy was a pioneering meteorologist and established what is now known as the met office.
Height 39 " / 98 cms Width 8" / 20 cms Depth 2 1/2" / 7 cms.
