A superb quality French Tulipwood Planter Jardinere with floral marquetry to the lid which lifts off housing a metal tray to display plants , the lid sits in a Gilt Bronze galleried surround over sweeping centre section an then sweeping legs which are cross banded with Burr Walnut also having good Ormolu mounts through out the whole piece .
The metal tray for the plants is a later replacement .
